Peacock Squid salmon fly
Hook — Partridge Bartleet Traditional, body — metal golden tinsel, eyes — jungle cock, head — red wool. Wing — stripe from the top part of peacock eye feather. It has a stiff base and a thin very movable light tips. From one very good feather (got it from farm) it’s possible to pick stripes just for one fly maximum.
Didn’t like totally red head much, added contrast by black:
Unusual wing material so tied in vise. Suspect that peacock strips will behave very provocatively in the water. And salmon will not remain indifferent.
